Esso Presents Blood Delivery Van to Thai Red Cross Society

H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, as executive vice president, the Thai Red Cross Society, granted an audience to the management of Esso (Thailand) Public Company Limited, led by Daniel E. Lyons, chairman and managing director, to present a refrigerated blood delivery van for use in the activities of the National Blood Center, the Thai Red Cross Society. The presentation ceremony was recently held at the Thai Red Cross Society in Bangkok.

Having been operated in Thailand for more than a century, Esso has a policy in corporate social responsibility. It has supported many activities in such areas as royal-initiated, rural development projects, education, art and culture, environmental conservation, and the well-being of the Thai people. To join the Thai people in celebrating His Majesty the King’s 80 Birthday Anniversary, Esso presented a well-equipped blood delivery van that can deliver donated blood in good quality. This will improve the efficiency of the National Blood Center.
