ExxonMobil Supports “Esso-Japanese Language & Accounting Scholarship” at CU

Ms. Phantipa Rasananda (4th left), director and Business Support Center area manager, ExxonMobil Limited, presented a 250,000-baht check for “Esso–Japanese Language & Accounting Scholarship (JAS)” to Asst. Prof. Dr. Annop Tanlamai (3rd right), dean, Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy, Chulalongkorn University. The scholarship will be given to undergraduate students with a major in accounting, who study Japanese as the third language in addition to English from the university or accredited language institutes.

ExxonMobil Limited realized the importance of human resource development in respond to global business development. The company, therefore, gave “Esso–JAS” to encourage university students with accounting background to enhance their knowledge and skill in foreign languages other than English. This will not only broaden students’ employment opportunities after graduation but also support a long-termed Human Resources development for Thailand to become one of the most competitive business locations and environment.
