Esso Challenge 2009 Students Visit Esso Sriracha Refinery

 Mr. Mark Ell Northcutt, Sriracha Refinery Manager, Esso (Thailand) Public Company Limited, led the Refinery team to welcome 29 Esso Challenge 2009 internship students upon their recent visit to Esso Sriracha Refinery. The students were given a brief on “Refinery Overview” by Mr. Pongsak Fongpech, Process Engineering Section Manager and the plant tour by Mr. Teerarat Pattanaparadee, Process Engineer of the Refinery.

In addition, the students also had an opportunity to visit Khao Kheow Open Zoo to experience a number of youth and environmental related programs sponsored by Esso Sriracha Refinery as well as information and data on variety of tigers where visitors could retrieve from electronic media at ‘Cat Complex’. The students had come up with proposal for improvement of the programs and presented to the program committees under the topic of “Knowledge Management.”

Esso realizes the important of human resources development which will be the foundation for country advancement. Therefore, Esso and its affiliates under ExxonMobil in Thailand have initiated the “Esso Challenge Innovative Internship” program with objective to extend potential of the students before entering into the real working world with efficiency and ethics.
