Esso Supports Craft Exhibition of Bangsai Art and Crafts Centre

 Mr. Mongkolnimit Auacherdkul (2nd from left), Director and Public Affairs Manager, Esso (Thailand) Public Company Limited recently presented a 200,000-baht check to His Excellency Privy Councilor Tanin Kraivixien (3rd from left), Vice President of the Foundation for the Promotion of Supplementary Occupations and Related Techniques under the Royal Patronage of Her Majesty the Queen (SUPPORT), Bangsai Arts and Crafts Centre.

Bangsai SUPPORT Centre, one of Her Majesty the Queen’s initiatives, is aimed to enhance Thai intellectual heritage particularly handicrafts while improving villagers’ income and their quality of life. Well-known in Thailand and abroad for its highlighted collection of handicrafts, crafts training to poor farmers, the training center also serves as a tourist attraction.

Esso has realized the need for human skill development to improve the rural standard of living and appreciated Thai art and culture conservation. The company, therefore, supports Bangsai SUPPORT Centre to organize “Bangsai Arts and Crafts Exhibition” at 2nd floor, Life Style Hall, Siam Paragon during April - November 2009.
