Esso Receives Appreciation Plaque from The Prostheses Foundation

Pol. Maj. Gen. Chalermbongse Komarakul (2nd right), Committee Member of the Prostheses Foundation of H.R.H. The Princess Mother presents an appreciation plaque to Mr. Prakob Siratharanont (2nd left), Convenience Retailing Manager of Esso (Thailand) Public Company Limited as the company, jointly with Dso Chemical Company Limited - a producer of diesel and benzene fuel conditioners, donated 3 million product can-lids for use in making artificial limbs for the handicapped.

H.R.H. The Princess Mother established The Prostheses Foundation in 1992 to provide free prostheses, made from recycled materials, which are lighter, significantly less expensive to produce.
