Awards Presentation to the winners of Esso Challenge 2010 - Innovative Internship “A Genius Mind”

Mr. Robert Michael Cooper, Chairman and Managing Director of Esso (Thailand) Public Co.,Ltd. and the company’s executives awarded the winners of the Esso Challenge 2010 - Innovative Internship Program “A Genius Mind” and also presented certificates to all 30 Esso Challenge 2010 participants at Esso headquarters recently.

The Esso Challenge – Innovative Internship program has been designed to enhance youth potential particularly 3rd year university students to prepare themselves for careers in the future. The students had special opportunities to learn about the company’s key businesses such as lubricants on Mobil 1 technology and operations of the Esso Sriracha Refinery. They also participated in social responsibility programs such as sea turtle conservation, science teaching to primary school students and debate on energy in Thailand. There were classes and on-the-job trainings under supervision of Esso/ExxonMobil trainers, academic lecturers and guest speakers from various institutes such as the Ministry of Energy and the National Science Museum. This year’s theme is “A Genius Mind”. The key concept is to perform wisely and with highest integrity.

The winner of the Esso Challenge 2010 - Innovative Internship Program is Ms. Nutrada Kunavivattananon from International Business Management, Assumption University. The First runner-up is Mr. Puwadol Dusadeerungsikul from Industrial Engineering, Chulalongkorn University. The Second runner-up is Ms. Pattraporn Yosvichit from Communication Arts, Chulalongkorn University. Congeniality is Ms. Pariyapat Lekprayoon from Commerce and Accountancy, Chulalongkorn University.
