Esso Supports Preventive Program for Diabetic Patients at Ao Udom Hospital, Chonburi

Mr. Richard L. Purcell (5th from right), Project Executive, Sriracha Clean Fuels Project, Esso (Thailand) Public Company Limited, presented 250,000 baht to Mr. Narongsak Ekwattanakul (4th from left), Hospital Director, in support of the program to prevent permanent loss of vision of diabetic patients at Ao Udom Hospital, Sriracha District, Chonburi Province.

Esso is committed to conducting business in a manner that promotes the standard of living and health of surrounding communities, particularly around Esso Sriracha Refinery. On this occasion, the company joined hands with Ao Udom Hospital in an effort to reduce the risks of permanent loss of vision in diabetic patients through the use of the digital retinal scanner, since early detection can help to cure diabetic retinopathy. Ao Udom Hospital currently provides service to about 2,000 diabetic patients.
