Esso Supports the 56th National Exhibition of Art

Mr. Robert Michael Cooper (3rd from right), Chairman and Managing Director of Esso (Thailand) Public Co., Ltd., recently presented a cheque of 300,000 baht to Dr. Uthai Dulyakasem (3rd from left), President of Silpakorn University, to support the 56th National Exhibition of Art. The presentation was held during the opening ceremony of the exhibition at The National Gallery, Chao Fa Road, Bangkok.
Esso has supported the exhibition for 29 consecutive years with an aim to promote the work of Thai artists and to encourage public interest in art. This is part of the company’s corporate citizenship objective to help preserve the Thai artistic heritage and promote the development of national art and culture.
The prize-winning works from this event will be on exhibition from September 7-October 24, 2010, at The National Gallery, Chao Fa Road, Bangkok, The Bangkok Art and Culture Centre, Pathumwan Junction, Bangkok, and Silpakorn University, Nakorn Pathom campus. After that, the exhibition will be on display at art galleries in major universities in Chiangmai, Khonkaen, Mahasarakam, Songkla, Pattani, and Chonburi.
