Esso Supports Hutsadin Elephant’s Foundation at Prachuabkirikhun

Mr. Robert Michael Cooper (5th from left), Chairman and Managing Director of Esso (Thailand) Public Company Limited, presented a contribution of 50,000 baht to Mr. Somboon Kobtongsirichok (4th from right), Vice President of Hutsadin Elephant’s Foundation to support the care and assistance of abandoned elephants. Mr. Cooper led a group of approximately 60 executives and employees of Esso (Thailand) and ExxonMobil affiliates in Thailand on a visit to the Hutsadin Elephant’s Foundation as part of a conservation effort for domestic elephants. This was part of the company’s employee volunteer activity program during a team-building session held recently in Prachuabkirikhun province.

The Hutsadin Elephant’s Foundation is a non-profit organization located in Hua-Hin District, Prachuabkirikhun province. It was established in 2007 by local businessmen with the aim of rescuing elephants abandoned by their owners due to illness, old age or the inability to work.
