Esso Supports Protection of Thai Elephants

Mr. Mongkolnimit Auacherdkul (2nd from right), Director and Manager of Public and Government Affairs, Esso (Thailand) Public Company Limited, presented a cheque in the amount of 100,000 baht to Dr. Parnthep Ratanakorn (2nd from left), Secretary General of Asian Elephant Foundation of Thailand (AEFT), to support the conservation and medical treatment of elephants particularly for the “Thai Elephants free from Tuberculosis” campaign.
Concerned with protecting endangered wildlife species including elephants, Esso has been coordinating with local and worldwide organizations including AEFT to support conservation efforts. AEFT was established to provide appropriate assistance to abused elephants as well as conservation efforts at both local and international levels.
