Established in 1969, the objective of the engineering student camp is to apply engineering knowledge, particularly in constructing facilities for public use such as bridges, spillways and school buildings for rural development. Students spend summer vacation time working on the projects. They also learn to build good relationships with local people and to work as a team. Esso has continuously supported the camp activities for over 20 years in a joint effort for infrastructure development to benefit local communities.
