Esso Supports Trat Coastal Fisheries Research & Development Center for Sustainable Ecosystem

Mr. Isra Sunthornvipart (left), Public and Government Affairs Advisor of Esso (Thailand) Public Company Limited, presented a cheque for 100,000 baht to Mr. Prachuab Leeraksakiat (right), Director of Trat Coastal Fisheries Research and Development Center, to support conservation efforts of marine life and coral reef for sustainable ecosystem.

The activities included public awareness and conservation campaigns such as the release of baby clownfish to their home reefs and the coordination with local fishermen for the caring of pregnant crabs at “The Crab Bank” which serves as a hatchery as part of the crab conservation program and also to increase the crab population to enhance community income along the coastal area of Trat province.
