Esso Supports National Agenda to Promote Road Safety Campaign

Esso is supporting the national agenda on “Decade of Safety on Roads” by organizing campaigns to promote road safety awareness and knowledge among motorcyclists at Phuket Municipality.

Mr. Yodpong Sutatham (3rd left), Director and Retail Sales Manager, Esso (Thailand) Public Company Limited, presented safety helmets to Mr. Chaiyapruek Phanpruek (4th left), Phuket City Municipality Deputy Mayor, as part of its support to the “Safe Ride, Fasten Safety Helmet” during the safe ride workshop for motorcyclists at Phuket City Municipality.

The program was jointly organized by the Thai Motorcycle Enterprise Association (TMEA), Department of Land Transport, the Royal Thai Police, and Esso (Thailand) Public Co., Ltd. to promote road safety awareness and knowledge among motorcyclists and the public to minimize the number of accidents. The program included training on traffic rules and safe drive to vocational students, and distribution of standard safety helmets to those who passed the training as well as students who ride bicycles.

Esso holds safety as its prime policy in operations. It also actively participates in safety promotion campaigns to support the government’s policy for public safety enhancement.
