Esso donates Refrigerated Blood Delivery Van to Thai Red Cross Society

Bangkok – In order to expedite the safe and timely delivery of blood to the Blood Bank for the Thai Red Cross Society, Esso has supported the purchase of a refrigerated blood delivery van.

HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn graciously granted an audience to Esso’s management team led by Mr. Robert Michael Cooper, Chairman and Managing Director of Esso (Thailand) Public Company Limited, to present a cheque for 1.2 million baht at Somdet Phra Yanna Sangwon Building, the Thai Red Cross Society in Bangkok.

Esso upholds corporate citizenship and social responsibility as its policy. The company has supported many social contribution projects. To celebrate the occasion of His Majesty the King’s 84th birthday anniversary this year, this donation will go towards the purchase of a refrigerated blood delivery van to expedite the work of the Thai Red Cross Society.
