Esso joins Kung Krabaen Bay Royal Development Study Center under the Royal initiative for coastal resource conservation

Esso (Thailand) Public Company Limited together with Esso service station dealers, alliance partners, and the media joined conservation activities to support sustainable aquatic resources at Kung Krabaen Bay Royal Development Study Center, Tha Mai district, Chanthaburi province.

On this occasion, Mr. Mongkolnimit Auacherdkul, Director and Public and Government Affairs Manager presented a check for 100,000 baht to Mr. Prajuab Leeruksakiat, Director of the Kung Krabaen Royal Study Center to support the “Joint Coordination for Cleanliness and Development of Sea Beach” project.

Aquatic resource conservation activities to support sustainability consist of releasing 1,000,000 tiger prawns into the sea, making coastal fish habitats from biodegradable ropes, and participating in the blue crab bank project to help maintain sustainable blue crab populations. These activities are part of the Kung Krabaen Bay Royal Development Study Center’s coastal resource restoration and management efforts. The Center offers research and training to support fisheries and aquaculture development and maintain ecological balance in the coastal areas that provide food sources, stable income, and eco-tourism opportunities for the community.

Esso has supported the Kung Krabaen Bay Royal Development Study Center’s development projects since 2007, including building check dams and supporting the Joint Coordination for Cleanliness and Development of Sea Beach Project by cleaning Chaolao and Laem Saded beaches and coastline to promote sustainable coastal resource conservation.
