Esso supports the 62nd National Exhibition of Arts

Bangkok – Esso (Thailand) Public Company Limited supported the 62nd National Exhibition of Arts organized by Silpakorn University to promote Thai arts and the outstanding work of Thai artists.

Mr. Neil A. Hansen (middle), Chairman and Managing Director of Esso (Thailand) Public Company Limited, presented a 200,000-baht check to Asst. Prof. Chaicharn Thavaravej (2nd left), President of Silpakorn University, to support the 62nd National Exhibition of Arts. The check presentation was held during the opening ceremony of the exhibition at the National Gallery in Bangkok.

Asst. Prof. Chaicharn said “The Exhibition aims to promote the understanding of contemporary arts among Thai people. It provides a national stage for Thai artists to showcase their skills and creativity in creating artistic works that include paintings, sculptures, graphic arts, and multimedia arts.” 
“Esso recognizes the importance of promoting national arts and cultural heritage. We take great pride in having provided support to the National Exhibition of Arts for 34 consecutive years. The participants are given an opportunity to exhibit their remarkable artistic talents and their work serves as an inspiration for a new generation of artists that we hope will continue to create inspiring Thai contemporary art for decades to come. We are also grateful for the role the exhibition plays in fostering public interest in the arts,” said Mr. Hansen. 
The prize-winning works from this event will be on exhibition at the National Gallery in Bangkok for a month and then at Chiang Mai University, Khon Kaen University, Mahasarakham University, Naresuan University, Burapa University, Prince of Songkla University Pattani campus, and Thaksin University.
