Esso and ExxonMobil in Thailand support Faculty of Arts, Chulalongkorn University in “International Linguistics Olympiad Program”

Bangkok - Esso (Thailand) Public Company Limited and ExxonMobil Affiliates in Thailand, cooperated with the Faculty of Arts, Chulalongkorn University (CU), in supporting winning candidates from Thailand to participate in the 19th International Linguistics Olympiad Program at Isle of Man (located between England and Ireland) in July 2022. This is the first time for Thailand to participate in this program.

Esso supports International Linguistics Olympiad

On this occasion Dr. Taweesak Bunluesin (6th  from right), director of Esso (Thailand) Public Company Limited presented the funding support to  Associate Professor Dr. Suradech Chotiudompant(5th from left), the dean of the Faculty of Arts, and Associate Professor Dr. Theeraporn Rattitamkul (3rd from left), general chair of the Thailand Linguistics Olympiad Organizing Committee and  the team. The event took place at Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Building, Faculty of Arts, Chulalongkorn University.

Department of Linguistic, Faculty of Arts, CU was certified by the Committee of International Linguistics Olympiad to serve as the qualifying examination unit for International Linguistics Olympiad. Approximately 20 contestants from the 1st round were invited to participate in the 4th Asia Pacific Linguistics Olympiad. The 4 top-score contestants will be eligible to compete in the 19th International Linguistics Olympiad Program at Isle of Man during 25th -29th July 2022.
