Suchart Phowatthanasathian (2nd from Left), Esso director and refinery manager, presented the PPE to Suchada Anothayanonth M.D., Ph. D. (3rd from Right), deputy director of Chonburi Hospital on this occasion.

“We know that the medical staff are working hard to heal the sick and protect us from the ongoing pandemic,” said Suchart.  “Providing this important PPE will help protect those on the front lines as they provide care.  Our company puts the highest value on safety, so medical staff working safely is critical – especially during this time of need.”

The Esso refinery became aware of the need for the PPE based on the long-standing relationship with the hospital and other medical providers in the area.  In the past, the refinery has supported various charitable events with the hospital as part of its ongoing community support and engagement programs.
