Esso and ExxonMobil present 2.5 million baht to Equitable Education Funds in the program “Esso brings back students to schools”

Chanthaburi :  Esso (Thailand) Public Company Limited and ExxonMobil affiliates in Thailand together with the management team, employees, Esso service station dealers, alliance partners, Mobil lubricant distributors and Esso Sriracha Refinery presented a donation of  more than 2.5 million baht to Equitable Education Funds in the program “Esso brings back students to schools” with the vision to Power Life with Premier Energy Experience.

Esso and ExxonMobil present 2.5 million baht to Equitable Education Funds in the program “Esso brings back students to schools”

Key participants included Esso management Dr. Adisak Jangkamolkulchai (standing 6th from right), chairman and managing director, Dr. Taweesak Bunluesin (standing 7th from right), director, Jesada Chancherngkij (standing 4th from left), director and retail sales manager, as well as representatives from Equitable Education Funds (EEF) Prof. Dr. Somphong Chitradub (standing 5th from left), board advisor, and Pattara Khumphitak (5th from right), board member.

This donation came from active fund-raising activity participated by the Esso service station dealers, alliance partners, Mobil lubricant distributors, Esso Sriracha Refinery and Esso Employee Club.  The combined fund has reached 2,533,957.81 baht in support to the Equitable Education Funds to assist students with financial problems to continue their studies in schools. The selections were based on the data analysis via iSEE (information System for Equitable Education) program of the EEF to find the students who are really in need of the support.

On this occasion, part of the funds was provided to students from 25 schools at Chanthaburi at the amount of 258 scholarships, with 3,000 Baht each.  The event took place at Burapha University, Chanthaburi campus.  Also Sirivej hospital has provided an ambulance service in case of emergency to take care of all participants between November 7-8, 2020.

The program of “Esso brings back students to schools” has been developed by Esso Retail Sales in cooperation with the EEF since 2019 to school students in Phetchaburi, Nan and Nakorn Nayok.  This year, part of the funds was given to those in Chanthaburi and will expand to schools in other provinces as needed.
