ExxonMobil Exploration and Production celebrated 24 years of safe operations in Thailand and donates more than 700,000 Baht in community contributions

Khon Kaen – ExxonMobil Exploration and Production Khorat Inc (EMEPKI) hosted a celebration to mark its 24th consecutive year of safe operations without a loss time incident and donated funds to community groups totaling more than 700,000 Baht.

Khon Kaen Governor Mr. Khamtorn Thavornsatit, together with the Lead Country Manager of ExxonMobil affiliates in Thailand, Mr. Neil A. Hansen, and President of ExxonMobil Exploration and Production Khorat Inc., Mr. See Kok-Yew jointly presided over the safety celebration. EMEPKI presented donations to commemorate the safety milestone to community groups totaling 700,467 Baht that included 200,000 Baht to Nam Phong Educational Funds, 350,467 Baht to Kud-Nam-Sai Municipality for a multipurpose agricultural tractor, and 150,000 Baht for a Muang-Wan Municipality school project.

EMEPKI maintains the strong commitment to safety as one of its core policies. EMEPKI has operated the onshore gas production site in the Nam Phong district, Khon Kaen province since 1990.
