Relief funds for Nepal from employees of Esso and ExxonMobil in Thailand

Bangkok – The Esso Employee Club, comprised of employees from Esso and ExxonMobil in Thailand, donated 903,660 Baht to the Thai Red Cross Society to support earthquake relief efforts in Nepal.

Mr. Jirat Wongsiri, President of the Esso Employee Club, Esso (Thailand) Public Company Ltd., presented a cheque for 903,660 Baht to M.R. Priyangsri Watanakun, Assistant Secretary General of the Thai Red Cross Society and Director of the Fund Raising Bureau.

The Esso Employee Club organized a charity event and sold “Pray for Nepal” shirts to raise funds to assist Nepal earthquake victims. The fundraising efforts resulted in excellent participation and generous donations from employees of Esso and ExxonMobil in Thailand.
